The holidays have a variation in how they are celebrated. Some are filled with traditions and family. Some are filled with tears. Usually, people whose holidays are filled with tears watch others celebrate with fun and laughter. It creates questions about why a person’s holiday looks different than another. If that is you, I want to offer you some hope.
A lot of times, when things look like nothing is happening in your life is the time God is moving the most in your life.
When Jesus was born, it was not a grand celebration with many attendants. It was in a place with Joseph and Mary surrounded by dirt and hay. Regardless if there was light when Jesus was born, the only true light that day was the one Jesus shined when He was born.
Looking at that day, who would have thought that baby born that night would be the Savior for you and me?
So if your holidays are looking grim, know that what you experience this holiday season could be the most significant movement of God in your life. Continue stay focused and hold onto Him while allowing Him to lead your steps.
