God Provides

When I question God in my life, I think about the life of birds. Today was no different. On our pond, we have 13 wild ducks for the winter. I sat and watched them for an hour with 3 of our dogs. Usually, after 15 mins of watching them and the dogs taking a swim, the ducks fly away. Not today. They all stayed. My stepdad has made them a place to sleep. There is plenty of fish to eat, and there is water. The ducks are set.

There are many times in my life when God wants me to do one thing, and all I can see is how I can’t do it. But when God is in charge of your life, He steps in and works on your behalf. Like the ducks, they just followed His guidance to the pond. Then God was able to take the natural and give the ducks a supernatural experience. His presence gave the ducks what they could not do for themselves, fish and shelter. They could not produce fish or make a shelter.

The same is true for a believer. When God is entirely in charge of your life, you don’t have to question if He will show up on your behalf in whatever area you need Him. He does because He loves you so much. He wants the best for you. He takes what is natural and turns it into supernatural.
